THE NEW WE !!!

The new WE, the new arihantbooks.com is LIVE. Months of dedication and now we realize the juice is worth the squeeze. The journey with a fresh and wider look in mind began five months back when the idea of its inception was put forward. The thought to evolve with the growth of E-Commerce industry was welcomed by the Board of Directors who met and made a set plan with a vision of what we are today. The aim was to develop a website that would match the class of Arihant, the class which Arihant enjoys by being one of the best amongst the publishers of competitive and recruitment exam books in India.

The next step was to put the thoughts on paper and prepare proposals for a whole new look. The editorial team wanted excellent content, the technical team focused on incomparable technical specifications whereas the sales team obviously wanted the maximum sales from the new website. Taking into consideration the requirements of various teams was a tiresome task. Climbing up the stairs, the next step was finding someone who would take up the challenge of meeting the varied demands and present a suitable model. After extensive research of the elite clientele list, C-Soft Consultants was chosen as the technical development team. Special thanks to Mr. Karan Oberoi who took up the challenge of presenting our needs graphically in the manner we wanted. Three models for the same were prepared but each one of them needed some alterations. Finally after rigorous detailing, a model was finalized and accepted by the management. New model prepared, technical development team chosen and then began the designing tour which had its ups and downs. The various teams at Arihant worked hand in glove with the technical development team to bring out the best. A big thanks to the whole technical development team at C-Soft, especially Mr. Kundan who took our calls at midnight and was ever ready to deliver his best and Mr. Naresh who held his patience & edited the same content 10 times a day. Neither can we overlook the distinguished efforts of our Project Manager who left no stone unturned to bring out the best from other team members. The time we spent working on this project, reaching home at 3 in the morning and sometimes even working continuously for 48 hours can never be forgotten. I personally remember daily tasks being assigned at 7 in the morning, working till late hours and then starting afresh the next day for another round of tedious tasks. 

Today after months of hard work and dedication it feels great to get the opportunity to share my firsthand experience about the commitment and enthusiasm the whole project development team displayed during the course. Getting positive feedback from our competitors has boosted our confidence and we strive to make it the most looked after website anyone would ever come across.
