45th Annual Book Distribution Conference

Though as a learner, as a leader and with forward and progressive thinking every book sold is a pleasure to entire team of Arihant, we at Arihant have always believed that recognition always comes from within, it’s your feeling of a product at the time of inception to the final touch that comes by the launch. We know, it’s going to inspire every mind and every hand which flips them. But at points like everyone else, we love to hear the claps and great words that echo forever in our minds and encourage us to do better and better. 

A nice moment came when on the occasion of 45th Annual Conference of Pustak Vikreta Hitkari Sangh our hard endeavors brought us another feather in our cap. We cheered jubilantly when the award ceremony of the conference began with Arihant Publications being awarded the ‘Best Publication 2014’ award. The annual conference recognizing the achievements and accomplishments in the publishing domain is hosted by the association formed by retailers, publishers and distributors from across the country.

With over 1000 well-known names from the publishing domain gracing the occasion, the event began with a cultural program. The major attraction of the event slated to begin in evening was the award ceremony in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Vineet Joshi, Chairman CBSE. Also gracing the event were Mr. Himanshu Gupta, Chairman S.Chand Group, Chairman Arya Publishing, Principals of Delhi’s eminent schools, team members from JPH and various other prominent names from the publishing domain. Arihant Publications was represented by Mr. Reetesh Jain, Director Arihant Publications India Ltd. The award ceremony began with welcome greetings from the Chairperson, President and the Secretary of the association. The first award of the ceremony, ‘Best Publication 2014’ award was awarded to ‘Arihant Publications India Ltd’ and was received by Mr. Reetesh Jain on behalf of the whole Arihant Publications team. The Chairperson of the association presented Mr. Jain with two medals while highlighting the significant role Arihant has played in the competitive and recruitment exam books segment. After receiving the award, Mr. Jain expressed his gratitude for the support the retailers and distributors have extended to Arihant. He emphasized that Arihant from the very beginning has been associated with quality & need based publishing and will keep up the good work in the years to come. He also briefed Mr. Vineet Joshi on Arihant’s further moves to mark a distinct space for itself in the school books segment. Apart from awarding the publishers, retailers and distributors, the event also felicitated the teachers who have played a remarkable role in the advancement of the school education. 

By the end of the ceremony everyone greeted each other, acknowledged the great works being done by industry top notch and people went gaga over Arihant’s success. We like always carried the pride and greater sense of responsibility for days and years to come.
